In addition to a branded mobile app, there are plenty of mobile apps that can help your clients both before and after their home search. The following app recommendations from HomeFinder.com are a great way to offer extra value to your buyers after the sale:

Between paint colors, flooring choices and tile samples, there are many decisions to make when redesigning your home. Before hiring a professional designer, consider doing it yourself with the help of your smartphone. Below are our five favorite home design apps to help bring your dream home vision to life.

1.) Mark on Call ($2.99, iOS): If you're struggling to execute your design vision, the Mark on Call app will help you plan, preview and execute your dream space. Created by interior designer Mark Lewison, this app creates virtual floor plans, stores your favorite finishes and will build shopping lists to help you find the ideal item for your space.

2.) Homestyler (Free, Android, iOS): Are you in love with a design style, but not sure if it will work in your home? Upload photos of different rooms to the Homestyler app and access a virtual design studio that allows you to try different flooring, housewares and wall colors throughout your home. This app also converts photos of furniture or appliances into high-quality 3D models so you can gauge how well each piece will fit in your home.

3.) Sun Seeker ($5-8, Android, iOS): Rely on natural light as much as possible to keep your home feeling open, and to keep electric bills down.Sun Seeker Lite shows you how much sunlight each area of your house receives, as well as sun paths for the upcoming year. This information will be helpful when purchasing lighting for your home.

4.) Architonic (Free, iOS): Research is a crucial part of any major project. The Architonic app compares different design elements and finishes so you can see what works best in your home without committing to a purchase. This app is a favorite for architects and interior designers and tells you what stores near you carry your favorite products.

5.) Color Smart by BEHR® (Free, Android, iOS): Do you want to recreate the relaxing retreat from your last vacation to Bora Bora? Or perhaps reimagine the chic hotel you loved in Paris? Color Smart by BEHR® lets you draw inspiration from your favorite photos and matches them to specific BEHR colors.
