The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) and WikiRealty today announced that they have signed an agreement to enhance the exchange of real estate knowledge in Miami and surrounding communities. MIAMI recognized that WikiRealty offers a uniquely useful resource for the real estate ecosystem: providing the first online destination where consumers, Realtors and related industry professionals can share local insight about both residential and commercial real estate.

“WikiRealty fills a critical gap in our industry and will benefit everyone involved in real estate in southern Florida,” said Deborah Boza-Valledor, CMO and COO Miami Association of Realtors. “MIAMI is continually looking for ways to give members a competitive advantage in the marketplace as well as provide consumers with valuable, hyper-local knowledge. We’re confident that joining the WikiRealty community will arm our members with greater online exposure, access to real-time information, and ultimately, more leads. This agreement enhances our suite of resources available to our Realtors, continuing our long tradition of service.”

Under the terms of this agreement, MIAMI agents get unprecedented access to the WikiRealty platform, including premier positioning of their listings. WikiRealty and MIAMI will also crosslink their sites.

“We launched in Miami about a month ago and the response from the community has been highly encouraging so far,” said Sanjay Kuttemperoor, CEO, WikiRealty. “We are very excited that MIAMI has chosen to partner with us. It demonstrates their acute understanding of our marketplace and the increasing importance of digital footprints in generating new leads. This partnership further illustrates MIAMI’s dedication to providing their agents with the best tools to bring exposure to their expertise, leading new buyers and sellers their way.”

WikiRealty provides a dynamic online town square for easy exchange of insider real estate tips and knowledge. It has launched in Chicago, Miami, Milwaukee and Naples and is expanding to other major U.S. cities by the end of the year.

“We built WikiRealty to help everyone get the insights they need to make smart decisions,” Kuttemperoor added. “WikiRealty isn’t just data or algorithms, we’re a community where users contribute their knowledge. And we welcome contributions from anyone associated with real estate, from agents, to buyers and sellers, to architects, lawyers and other service professionals. We’re building the most vibrant community in real estate.”
