South Florida doesn’t just boast world-class beaches and shopping. The region offers an array of unique communities such as Wellington in Palm Beach County. Wellington is known as Horse Town U.S.A. and is the equestrian capital of the world.

Wellington’s renowned equestrian lifestyle is not only the destination of a popular annual equestrian festival, but it’s home to a booming real estate market.

The world’s richest man, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, recently purchased an entire street in Wellington. The family of Apple founder Steve Jobs bought a 3.5-acre ranch across the street from Gates’ compound.

The Gates and Jobs families each have children who are world-class show-jumping riders. What better than to train and live in Horse Town U.S.A.?

Wellington is home to the Winter Equestrian Festival, which attracts more than 250,000 visitors each year from January through April. In addition to its equestrian lifestyle, Wellington offers superior schools, low crime and is part of a fast growing South Florida region.
