For Members that have paid for their own websites:

There are 3 FREE IDX Solutions for your website. You may choose any solution that you want. All three alternatives contain all of the MLS listings for our area. Please note, you may also obtain a free 11-language website from our association and Immobel.com. Classes are held on most Thursday's at 10:00 and last about 2 hours. If you already have a web site, you may cross-link the two web sites.

Many Agents ask us how to delete the Listing Agent's contact information on IDX listings. That is against the IDX Rules! Please review them so that your web site is in compliance.

Free IDX Solutions from our MLS Vendor, Interealty, to frame on your website. Simply copy this link on to your website and your visitors will be able to search the MLS from your site. There is no need to send them anywhere else.

Free IDX web pages are Now Available from FAR

A full set of IDX solutions is now available to all members as a free service from the Florida Association of Realtors.

Your now have the following IDX options available:

1. A complete web page promoting your services and including the IDX properties and search and display engine. There are choices of several web page templates that can be edited at will.

2. The web page described above but at a URL members own. FAR will host the URL and provide the web page.

3. A website containing the IDX properties and a search and display engine that can be framed by a member's existing web site.

4. A data feed of the IDX properties to an MLS Participant for inclusion on their web site.

For you to use these free IDX solutions you need to go to your Personal Profile on your web page at the Florida Living Network® http://Fl.Living.net . You can also go to Planet Realtor http://PlanetRealtor.com and select Personal Profile. In your Personal Profile select IDX and then choose which IDX solutions you want. You may also be able to make other decisions based upon your MLS rules. Simple and quick. And you can change any of these options at any time.

Subject: IDX Framed Search - Web Site Address Change
IDX Participants:

One of the IDX solutions that is available to you through the Florida
Association of Realtors (FAR) IDX program is an IDX property search URL (Web
Site Address) which you can frame or link to from your own custom web site.

In June of 2002 we sent out an e-mail notifying those members who have
framed the FAR IDX solution that the URL has changed. A shorter, more
manageable URL had been created to replace your existing URL.

This current e-mail is to inform you that the old URL will be disabled.
- If you are using the new URL then you need to do nothing.
- If you are still using the old URL then you can get the new URL by
following the instructions below.

For those members who have not framed the FAR IDX solution, you can use the
instructions below to get the IDX property search URL which you can then add
to your custom web site.

- Go to your Florida Living Network personal web page (http://fl.living.net
and search for Realtors or Firms)
- Click on the Personal Profile link and log in.
- Click on the IDX button.
- The new URL is displayed in red in the Configuration Options area under
the Frame my IDX display on my web site header.
- Replace the old URL with this new URL.
