International

   The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches introduced the International Real Estate Council at an inaugural event in June of 1996. Under the direction of a leadership Advisory Council, the membership includes residential and commercial real estate professionals who play an active role in the success of the International Council and lead the South Florida Real Estate community. To date the International Council has reciprocal agreements signed with 29 foreign real estate organizations and additional relationships that total over 50 international organizations.

PROGRAMS & SERVICES
   The International Council is a division of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches. Members receive services and benefits including marketing opportunities, information, networking, educational and social events. Members also have the opportunity to participate in Foreign Trade Missions locally and internationally. Council members are comprised of real estate brokers and agents, domestic and international developers, foreign chambers of commerce, honorary consuls, and foreign real estate associations worldwide. The Council establishes and maintains communication with foreign associations and markets South Florida real estate and services to the international community.

ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE CONGRESS
   For the past five years, the International Council has hosted the International Real Estate Congress in Miami that attracts 700+ international real estate professionals. The International Real Estate Congress combines international educational programming with gala receptions and a 2-day Trade Exposition to provide attendees with an incredible opportunity to expand their global network while keeping current on international real estate topics. Foreign delegates from an average of ten different countries attend annually.

OUR MISSION
   The International Council was formed to meet the needs of the growing market of international real estate specialists. The mission of the Council is to provide networking, marketing and technological opportunities to its members. This is accomplished through foreign outreach activities and our education programs designed to enhance the cultural and marketing knowledge of members within specific target market countries and regions.

INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL
   The Advisory Council meets regularly to plan the programs and services of the Council. The goal of the Marketing, Education, and Sponsorship committees is to constantly enhance the relationships of our members with those of foreign associations and to provide increased marketing opportunities worldwide. Members of the International Council can volunteer to join any of the committees. Membership in the Council is free to members of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches. Members of other associations may also join for a nominal fee.

OUR LOCATION
   The International Council has its headquarters at the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches in Miami, Florida. Perfectly located in one of the hottest International marketplaces, members of the International Council have constant opportunity to expand their international client base to include those international customers looking to purchase real estate within the United States as well as abroad.
